Turn off TV???
Here's a strange campaign www.whitedot.org, encouraging everyone to quit watching tv. And Interactive Tv is much worse apparantly.
I'm not sure what I think about this. Moderation is the key - just watching decent shows, and not getting sucked into sitting in front of it all night. My nightly hits of Eastenders are fine - I really love the ongoing story, its like reading a book each day (which I do as well). The thing is, what is the alternative? The site talks about people not connecting because everyone is watching tv - so do we just go down the pub instead. Ah, alcohol, the real answer...

Jo and Danny have a new record out - which I very nearly bought today except I didn't have enough cash on me and really wanted to here the New Pornographers record - which is pretty good, but I suspect is not as good as anything by Jo and Danny. You can't buy it at Amazon or their website. I saw it in a second hand record store (already?) and am going back tomorrow to get it.
