the Jackass theme tune

I just had one of those 'darnedest' moments which I guess isn't really that darned, but hey.

There i was was, reading Our Band Could Be Your Life by Michael Azzerad - a book about the American indie / punk underground scene in the late 70s, early 80s (hat tip NonStop Pop). I'm reading up about the Minutemen, which is one of those bands I should know all about and decide to locate some tracks to have a listen. Up on the search came Corona (Jackass theme) and that was my darned moment.

No, not really very darned at all, just a slight coincidence, but its nice to know. Oh, and the minutemen really are worth a listen. Their story is a brave, honest and bloody minded story of the band creating music in the DIY punk ethic. It is also a rather melancholic story.
